Legal Aid Contracts

Vicky Ling has assisted dozens of firms of solicitors and NfP agencies to bid successfully for legal aid contracts, consultancy has been provided in relation to face to face contracts, (crime and civil/family), telephone contracts and Housing Possession Court Duty Schemes. She also assisted in relation to a number of Community Legal Advice Centre and Network contracts. She supported the development of consortia and assisted in preparing consortium bids for 2010 legal aid contracts.

Since its inception in 2001, Vicky has assisted a number of firms to make applications for accreditation to the Serious Fraud Panel (either as a firm or in relation to a supervisor) so that they became eligible to undertake very high cost criminal defence cases.

Advice Commissioning

Vicky has considerable experience in working with not-for-profit sector agencies including local Citizens Advice, Law Centres and independent advice agencies on bids to deliver information advice and guidance contracts for local authorities and clinical commissioning groups.
